Our programs are designed to teach the fundamentals of the game of basketball. Any camper, whether beginner or Varsity level player, is welcome at our camps. We are a fundamentals camp. We teach the game and make it fun and keep it fun all week. We teach the same skills that we taught to our scholarship level college players at The College of Saint Rose the past 3 decades. We begin with the basics and progress each day as appropriate. More experienced players will be challenged at a more advanced level in our skill sessions.

Regardless of experience level, size or position, we work on every skill from running and jumping, footwork and agility, balance, dribbling, passing, shooting, both individual and team defense, rebounding, team play etc. We work on shooting multiple times each day. We teach the rules and situations of the game as well. Each camper is placed on a camp team with a coach. Our staff is carefully selected to blend college, high school and AAU coaches as well as current college players to provide a well rounded

In addition to skills and drills, campers practice and play at least three games each day. While we compete, competition isn’t our primary focus at camp. We want campers to try new things and not fear failure or losing while growing as a player – regardless of their level. We’ll get to know each camper individually and work on the fundamentals of the game as well as each camper’s confidence and self-esteem throughout the week. The goal is to give campers a positive basketball experience and help them develop new skills each day. Combined with that boost in confidence, our hope is they’ll continue to practice the new skills they’ve learned once they get home and beyond.
