He began the Brian Beaury Basketball Camp for Boys and Girls in 1985 and has directed every phase of the program since. Coach Beaury has always enjoyed basketball camp and tirelessly works to ensure a positive summer camp experience for campers and their parents.

Over his 32 years on the sidelines, Coach has become the most decorated college basketball coach in the Capital Region and ranks among the winningest Head Coaches in the NCAA with over 640 wins, including 14 NCAA Tournament appearances, including the 2017 Sweet 16, three trips to the Elite 8 and a trip to the Final 4. He’s had 22 All-American players under his guidance, many who went on to professional careers.

Coach has received many individual awards for his successes and is currently a member of 3 different Hall of Fames. In addition to his role as Head Coach, Coach Beaury served on the NCAA Men’s Basketball National Committee, which works to ensure integrity in the sport and its championship selection and competitions.

Most importantly, Coach works with athletes, parents, coaches and administrators, year-round, as a teacher and advocate for positive youth sports locally, regionally and nationally. Coach Beaury personally hires the staff and oversees the camp schedule and its’ curriculum daily.

“Camp is and has always been the highlight of my year. Every day we come to work with one goal – make each day a positive one for each of our campers. Kids playing basketball, making new friends and learning about themselves daily, gives me an energy that I can’t match many places. Watching a young boy or girl come to camp at age 7 or 8 and in some cases finishing up 9-10 years later is a big reward as well. I get to know them and their families and watch from a distance how they blossom.” Coach Brian Beaury
